Tucked away on the quiet shores of Lake Marion, Relaxed Retreat was created with one mission: to give people a place to slow down, unplug, and reconnect with nature.

Relaxed Retreat will provide outstanding hospitality and amazing experiences to guests, a supportive environment for our crew, and be an asset to all communities we belong to.
Our Story
David (right) was a refrigeration contractor who started to purchase parts from the store that Chris (left) managed. They immediately hit it off. David convinced Chris to read Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. They read a few other books on business, negotiation, and real estate, and decided to give real estate investing a try. Supported by their incredible wives, Cynthia and Jennifer, they invested in several niches within real estate. The Halls and Biddles decided that they would seek customers who wanted to share experiences and make special memories with their families and friends. That led them to a search for RV parks and resorts with gorgeous natural surroundings. That brings us to the beginning of the story of Relaxed Retreat, a brand based on hospitality and incredible natural experiences. Welcome to our dream!
Meet the Biddles
Chris and Jennifer Biddle’s first date in Athens, GA was Jennifer’s treat, thanks to an infamous lost bet. Fast forward a few years after a gorgeous wedding and out pop Logan and Avery, completing the Biddle family. Jennifer is a gifted and dedicated teacher with many awards and accolades in her trophy chest. Chris uses his management experience to help guide the amazing crew of Relaxed Retreat. The whole family loves fishing, boating, and most outdoor activities.
Meet the Halls
David and Cynthia Hall are high school sweethearts who married shortly after graduation. Cynthia went on to pursue a college education as a veterinary technician and later a radiology technician. She is currently assisting with business finances and homeschooling their 4 school-aged children, Sawyer, Caitlyn, Caroline, and Audra. Their oldest son, Braxton, married Bethaney in 2024 and is following in David’s footsteps. David is an entreprenuer at heart. For the past 2 decades he had dipped his toe into several professions before currently fulfilling his dream of RV park ownership. Their family enjoys spending time camping, fishing, traveling, and serving with their church on missions.
