Best Species to Target This Week—Hooked on Largemouth and Catfish!
Largemouth Bass
Fish for Largemouth Bass this week in 6-10 feet of water over a rocky and vegetated bottom using a soft plastic worm. A slow retrieve with a twitching action should encourage a strike at 5-8 feet.
Blue Catfish
Target Blue Catfish in 10-20 feet of water over a muddy bottom using cut bait. A slow troll with a bouncing action will entice bites at 8-15 feet.
Black Crappie
Fish for Black Crappie in 8-12 feet of water around submerged structures using small jigs. A steady retrieve with a jigging action will attract them at 6-10 feet.
Best Times to Be on the Water This Week—Catch the Early and Late Bites!
Largemouth Bass
Due to warmer temperatures and stable conditions, Largemouth Bass will be actively feeding during the early morning and late evening. Specific times from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM will be optimal.
Blue Catfish
With the water warming, Blue Catfish will be most active during the late afternoon. Target them between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM for the best chance.
Black Crappie
As the moon phase favors feeding, Black Crappie will be more active during the early morning and around sunset. Focus your efforts from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
