Black Crappie
Target Black Crappie in 8-14 feet of water near brush piles using jigs. A slow retrieve with light action should entice bites at 10-12 feet.
Channel Catfish
Fish for Channel Catfish in 10-15 feet of water over a muddy bottom using chicken liver. A bottom bounce retrieval with gentle pulls should trigger hits at 12 feet.
Prime Fishing Times to Land the Big Ones!
Largemouth Bass
Due to clearer skies and rising temperatures, Largemouth Bass will be actively feeding during mid-morning through early afternoon. 9 AM – 2 PM will be the optimal time to target this species.

With improving water clarity and stable temperatures, Black Crappie will be most active in the late afternoon. 3 PM – 6 PM is the best time to fish for them.
