I had a wonderful time at Carolina King. I was caught a little off guard by the higher than expected price but it was totally worth it! The staff was super friendly, the accommodations were perfect. Ms. Virginia’s Famous biscuits were to die for – doesn’t matter what you added to them, they were delicious! Their coffee is the perfect accompaniment. Definitely HIGHLY recommend for any getaway you want involving water (fishing, kayaking, sunrise or sunset viewing, etc.). MAKE THIS A DESTINATION!

I checked in on Monday rod departures on Friday we’ve had a great time we haven’t actually caught any fish but it’s been so hot we haven’t tried extremely hard… Just being able to experience this cabin in the view has been absolutely amazing and the kids have it thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We stayed a week and it was great. Quite and picturesque.Very friendly staff. We will be back, love it here. Would highly recommend.
