Do you enjoy working with your hands, solving problems, and spending your day outdoors instead of behind a desk? If so, Relaxed Retreat is looking for a dependable General Maintenance Technician to help keep our beautiful lakeside resort in top shape!

This is more than just a maintenance job—you’ll play a key role in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests by ensuring our cabins, marina, grounds, and facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform general building and cabin repairs
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
  • Maintain the marina, docks, boats, and waterfront areas
  • Mow, trim, and maintain the grounds
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities
  • Assist with storm preparation and cleanup when needed
  • Help with boat rentals and other resort operations as needed
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Can work independently and as part of a team
  • Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
  • Is dependable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
  • Has experience with general maintenance (preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person)
  • Can safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day
  • Is willing to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings during our busy season
